IS VIRTUAL DATING CHEATING?

The short answer is yes. Cheating is trying to find love, pleasure, or attention from someone outside of the relationship without the partner knowing. Even something like texting or virtual is an indicator that the person is open to starting a romantic relationship with someone else. Although there has not been any physical contact, the omission and deceit make it cheating.

In this post, OP (Original Post) states that her boyfriend received a text from a +57 country-code phone number. He lied and said it was spam. OP then seen another text from the same number. She discovered this was a Colombian woman and that he has been having virtual dates with about 15 of these women from an app call Crema Social. He confessed he felt lonely. OP did admit to being busy with life. He has since deleted the app. Now, OP is having second thoughts about moving in to live with him.

In my opinion, OP’s boyfriend may have been emotionally cheating but it was not too severe. She could salvage this by understanding her man has needs. What she should be more concerned with is how easy it was for him to go behind her back instead of confronting her with his concerns. He also has wandering eyes. Maybe he is looking for a way out.
